Come see what 4 families are doing within a few blocks of each other to conserve water! You’ll see a 1000 gallon rainwater tank, 500 gallon rainwater tanks, 205 gallon rainwater tanks, shower greywater systems, and laundry greywater systems that keep fruit trees and other plantings thriving despite watering restrictions and drought.
Brook Sarson, Water Harvesting Professional, will be on hand to answer your questions and tour you through the sites so you can understand the details of what goes into these simple systems. All information is open source!
We will start at Azalea Park Community Center and begin walking at 9:15. We will end our tour with an optional canyon walk where you will be invited to observe what thrives in nature without water.
