  • The Talmadge Circle 49th and Adams San Diego, CA 92115 United States
drought tolerant bee and bird food

Join us for a fun and informative foray from University Heights to Talmadge to meet with homeowners who have installed rainwater harvesting or greywater systems in their homes, and have abundant food producing and/or native landscapes.  This is a great way to see how easy it is to be a part of the water solution and the variety of ways that water can be harvested.  During this easy paced bike tour, you will see both professionally installed and do-it-yourself applications.  If you are curious about how to harvest either rainwater or greywater this is your opportunity to meet with many different people all working to create a water abundant “blue” future.  Rainwater harvesting and greywater reuse can reduce a household’s water consumption by over 50 percent.
